IAL extract Made Easy

IAL extract is used to provide tanins and micro nutritents to Bettas. We can make it easily by following these steps.

NB: (Many leaves and many methods can be used to make tanin extract , just sharing our method)

* Collect 10-15 dry IAL leaves 

* We can cut them in to small pieces for better release of tanins 

* Take 2 liter chlorine free water, add the leaves and boil for 15-20 minutes..

* Let it sit overnight to release all Tanins 

* Use a fine cloth to filter the liquid to bottles. 

We add 1 small spoon of this liquid to betta our bottles after every water change. 

NB: Keep Refrigerated if you wish to use long term.
